I have severe backpain and don't have local insurance. What are my choices doctor?

Can you specify your complain? And where is your location?
If you do not have local insurance, you can register as a patient in private hospital and pay with local currency. However if you are currently travelling, I believe you might have intl. Insurance, right? I think you can contact the insurance company to refer you to certain hospital accordintg to their policy.

Severe headache can be a symptoms of emrrgency condition and require fast treatment. The best way is to admit to closest Emergency department.

There are few things that we would love to know, such as :
- age and gender
- how long have you been experiencing the back pain?
- is there any trauma history?
- do you have any hypertension, kidney stone, or any chronic illnesses?
- and does the back pain feel on both side or localized?
- and would you mind to describe the quality of the pain? radiate? pulsating ?

In general, Lower back pain can caused by :
1. Muscle injury /trauma : sprain . strains
2. Herniated disc
3. Sciatica
4. Spondylolisthesis
5. Spinas stenosis
6. Radiculopathy : the compression . inflammation of the spinal nerve root
7. Infection
8. Tumor
9. Kidney stones
10. Pelvic inflammatory disease (female)
11. Prostatitis (male)
12. Bad posture
13. Overweight / obese

If you are from UK / Europe, most of the time you should have a travelling insurance with you.
If you are not from UK/Europe (from USA, or else), you can try to reach your insurance company and ask them about their international / travelling insurance policy.

Literally, without any insurance you still can get health services here in Indonesia, you can go to see private doctor or hospital and register as a patient, and pay in full price as you have no insurance (unless your main insurance company has different policy)

I suggest you to go to a major hospital nearby and check yourself to ER (emergency room)
